Jessara is the name of a boat that sits patiently waiting for another chance to ride the swells. I spend as much time on her as I can and over the years she has taken me on a number of unforgettable adventures. She is a slow boat which means that traveling on her is always about the journey, rarely the destination. I can plot and navigate to my heart's delight - but the journey always unfolds its mystery in ways that I never expect.

About me
Although I am a therapist by training, I work for a small graduate college in the pacific northwest. When I am not in my garden or on the water, I'm either sipping coffee out on the porch or hiking a trail through tall stately cedars. I am mother, wife, sister, daughter, friend, colleague, woman and little girl all rolled up in one amazing package.
