Rite of Passage

Another one, anyway
A and I took our twenty year old son out to buy his first suit.

We went over to Macy's and handed J. over to the capable hands of the men's department. I think they love things like this - a young man coming in to try on his first suit - pick out his first ties and try on his first pair of dress shoes. The staff had a lot of fun putting things together for him.

He looked so grown up for a moment and then I had a vision of my little boy playing dress up when he was about three.
It just doesn't matter how old he gets.
The grin is the same.
