Out on the town - with my daughter

We took J out for her 18th birthday last night to Teatro Zin Zanni.
It was a perfect evening of celebration and fun. And who can resist a gorgeous young woman? Not the staff of the show. It could have been partly the birthday tiara that she was wearing - but it was mostly just J herself. We haven't laughed so hard in ages and it was so much fun to watch her blindfolded by The Maestro and then taken for a slow waltz around the room. He kept coming back, actually, and ended the evening with giving her his actual phone number.

Oh my.

Andy couldn't believe the guy's audacity to do that in front of her own father - but audacity is the key word with Teatro Zin Zanni.

Our daughter is a beautiful young woman who - when she chooses - lights up a room. She choose to last night and I was so happy to see her take in the reactions of people around her for what they were: admiration and appreciation. Okay, and a bit more from one particular actor - which was the perfect cap to a perfect evening.

I have to say, it was one of the funnest evenings I've had out.
